Caren Johnson joined GuideOne in May 2011 and currently serves as Senior Litigation Counsel handling administrative claims before the Workers' Compensation Appeals Board. Prior to joining GuideOne, Caren worked as staff attorney for State Compensation Insurance Fund handling Workers Compensation claims and serving as a union representative for three of the legal units. She supervises a team of four Workers' Compensation attorneys in California and one Workers' Compensation attorney in New York.

Caren graduated from Stanford University and obtained her Juris Doctor from the University of California, Los Angeles, where she received the American Trial Attorney Association's Award for Trial Advocacy. She is a Certified Specialist, Workers Compensation by the State Bar of California.

Caren and her husband are the proud parents of five beautiful children. She enjoys reading, watching college sports, and traveling.
