Ken Cadematori

President & Chief Executive Officer

With over 30 years of leadership and executive experience in finance and accounting, President and Chief Executive Officer Ken Cadematori brings profound insight and a dynamic vision to GuideOne.

Before stepping into his current role, Ken served as GuideOne’s chief financial officer, where he spearheaded the finance team and provided strategic oversight in critical areas such as investments, accounting, financial planning, reinsurance, reserving, capital management, procurement and facilities.

Ken earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Lycoming College and is a certified public accountant. His leadership is driven by a commitment to innovation, excellence and the advancement of GuideOne’s mission.

Travis Sheets

Senior Vice President & General Counsel

Travis leads GuideOne’s legal strategy, focusing on advancing corporate governance and ensuring regulatory compliance. As senior vice president and general counsel, he oversees a wide range of legal functions, provides counsel to support the company’s strategic objectives, and manages both the internal legal team and outside counsel.

Before joining GuideOne in 2024, Travis served as chief legal officer for BH Companies. His career also includes roles as vice president and deputy general counsel for American Equity Investment Life Insurance Company and senior counsel for HNI Corporation.

Travis earned a Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in business administration and economics from Austin College. His expertise and leadership drive GuideOne’s commitment to integrity and strategic growth.

Adam Niebrugge

Senior Vice President & Chief Financial Officer

As senior vice president and chief financial officer, Adam drives GuideOne’s financial strategy, overseeing accounting, finance, investments, reserving, capital management and reinsurance. His expertise ensures a solid financial foundation for the company’s long-term growth and stability.

Before becoming CFO, Adam led GuideOne’s actuarial team, where he directed enterprise risk management strategies and assessed financial risk exposures. His experience spans actuarial leadership roles, including reserving, pricing, planning and forecasting.

Adam holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and mathematics from Indiana University Bloomington and a master’s degree in actuarial science from Ball State University. With a focus on precision and innovation, Adam plays a key role in advancing GuideOne’s financial vision.

Troy Spoonemore

Senior Vice President, Chief Underwriting & Risk Officer

As senior vice president, chief underwriting and risk officer, Troy leads GuideOne’s commitment to underwriting excellence and risk management solutions across all business segments.

Since joining GuideOne in 1998, Troy has developed a comprehensive skill set through roles in claims, loss control, risk management and underwriting. His deep industry knowledge and innovative approach have been instrumental in shaping GuideOne’s success. Most recently, he served as vice president of technology and innovation strategy.

Troy holds an associate degree in applied science, business and information technology from Heald College. His leadership reflects GuideOne’s dedication to innovation, precision and sustainable growth.

Karey Anderson

Chief Investment Officer

As Chief Investment Officer, Karey Anderson leads GuideOne’s enterprise‑wide investment strategy, managing the company’s portfolio to balance risk and growth while supporting long‑term financial strength. She provides market and portfolio insights to senior leadership and the Board of Directors, helping guide strategic decisions that drive organizational performance.

Karey brings more than 20 years of experience in portfolio management, investment strategy, asset allocation, and security analysis. She joined GuideOne from Employers Mutual Casualty Company (EMC), where she served as Vice President and Portfolio Manager. Previously, she spent eight years as Assistant Vice President and Securities Analyst, playing a key role in the development and execution of EMC’s investment strategy.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in finance and economics from Drake University and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA). Her leadership will support sustainable growth through disciplined, long‑term investment management.
