Enrique Alvarez is an insurance defense attorney in Florida and has been in the insurance defense industry for 30 years. His background includes claims adjuster/examiner for Nationwide Insurance. He was also an assistant public defender early in his career.  He has represented and handled work for nearly every known insurance company. He also spent nearly a decade as in-house counsel for an insurance company in south Florida. His work history includes liability, property, and labor employment law. Prior to joining GuideOne, Alvarez worked for a boutique trial law firm. His undergraduate degree is from the University of Florida, and his Juris Doctor is from Thomas M. Cooley Law School. Alvarez has been approved by the state of Florida, Department of Financial Services to present lectures to claim professionals for continuing education credits. He handles cases all over Florida. His experience and knowledge allow him to effectively handle cases from inception to verdict and post-verdict. Alvarez is bilingual in English and Spanish.
